It's taken me almost a year, but I finally got around to trying Aria Mediterranean Grill and Afghan Cuisine. I first spotted it right at its opening, but hadn't gotten around to trying it until I was downtown during the lunch hour a couple weeks ago.
I had the sabzi challow, but vegetarian instead of with the traditional lamb, and it was amazingly delicious. I ate it embarrassingly fast, but if any of the other diners or take-out customers noticed, they were too polite to say. There are only a few vegetarian entrees, but if the others are as good as the sabzi, I'm sold. There are also some vegi appetizers like falafel. Check it out next time you're downtown.
