Isaw this turkey seasonal refugee on my ride home up Old Tunnel Road after the Oakland Urban Paths walk in Hiller Highlands. A little while later I saw four more, including two doing the iconic tail feather spread.

    WOW!! A big guy too. He looks like he is mid-stride. Very nice picture. Gobble!

    I told him I'm a vegetarian, but that didn't seem to reassure him. Understandable, I guess, given the time of year.

    There also are wild turkeys in the Morcom Rose Garden. Imagine.
